Britney Spears, believe it or not, doesn’t write much of her own music! One of her latest songs (and the name of her current album) was written and previously performed by R&B legend Bobby Brown. It was on New Year’s Day 1989 that Brown released My Prerogative and it spent 24 weeks on the US charts making it all the way to the number one spot. I heard on the radio over the weekend a song that began with the words… WELCOME TO THE PLANET. It reminded me of our 3 week kick-off series in Triple F… Welcome to the planet… WHY AM I HERE??? We learnt that the reason why we are here is not to please ourselves but to please our Creator. Colossians 1:16 says: “All things were made by Jesus and FOR Jesus.”
Why are you here??? FOR JESUS.
Keep living for Him who made you and died for you.

Thank you to all the parents who were able to make it to the meeting on Sunday morning. It was an encouraging time and we look forward to the continuing partnership.
Triple F & Focus are normal place and normal time tonight.

There will be a Parents, Prayer & Partnership this Sunday [13Feb05] morning at either 10am or 12noon. It will be in Woodport Hall after each morning church meeting and go for 20minutes. This is for ALL parents of youth in yr7-12. It will be a helpful time to hear about the year ahead, pray, and meet the leader of your teenager. Also take the opportunity to meet other parents with children the same age as yours.

Everyone loves a FREEBIE!!! This software is really good quality. There are some very helpful tools that you can use as you read the Bible on your computer. It’s called e-sword. You might want to check out the Bible’s swordiness in Hebrews 4:12.
