‘On the Poddy with Dave & Dan’ has landed! This is our first episode… and we think it is fantastic! We must say that our studio engineers have done a marvellous job with our recording studio. Thanks team. Our very first guest was the eloquent Napoleon Dynamite. In our first top 5 with Dave we heard his favourite celebrity farm animals. We talk about the Commonwealth games, some of the aims of this podcast, and Daniel shared from Philippians chapter 1. Last Friday night TRIPLE F had separate group nights. I had the privilege of visiting the yr7 boys, the yr9 boys, and then camping with the yr 8 boys. Having helped to consume pizza with the yr 7 boys I then realised that all 3 of the boys groups had eaten pizza. How many I hear you ask? 29! For boys 29 empty pizza boxes would point to a great night!! From all reports the 3 girls groups had a great night as well… they probably didn’t eat quite as much! Friday night was a great night for each of the year groups to continue building community with one another. Each group spent some time in the Bible thinking about what it will look like for them to look out for one another this year. Thanks to the families that hosted each of the nights.

3 THINGS TO REMEMBER ON 2ND APRIL 2006:
#1. Day Light Savings will be over - but getting to church 1hr early is better than 1hr late!
#2. You may realise that someone tricked you the day before - April Fools!
#3. THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER FOR PHAT 2006 - Hurry spaces are filling quickly!

This Friday night (24Mar06) is as per normal for Triple F and Focus.

Queen Elizabeth II is in town. There has been much royal fanfare befitting a Queen. They even had a special Commonwealth church service yesterday in Sydney (read Peter Jensen’s sermon here). Have you met the Queen? If so how did you treat her? How would you if you did? However, the bigger and more important question is: HAVE YOU MET THE KING??? Not the King of Australia… but the King of the Universe. How do you treat King Jesus?

YEAR 10-12 - Tonight FOCUS will be finishing their series in the Old Testament book Job. They meet at the ‘Shed’ 102 Wycombe Rd Terrigal. 7:15-9:15pm
YEAR 7-9 - Tonight TRIPLE F will be continuing their series in Genesis 1-11. They meet at Erina High School Hall. 7-9pm.
