Greetings Earthlings,

We have a three week break from CCECYOUTH. No Friday night gatherings or G-TEAMS (Friday arvo for seniors + Sunday mornings for juniors). Things swing back into action on Friday 20th October. In the meantime… keep coming to night church (6:30pm Sunday’s at erina high)… keep meeting with each other… and keep meeting with God.

If you’re in year7-9 (+ parents) stay with your families in church each Sunday morning over the next 3 weeks. There will be no operation 24/7 until October 22. Enjoy listening to the sermons. Make sure you take a Family News Letter on your way into church so that you can get the sermon outline and take notes during the talk. This might help you to concentrate and learn more from the Bible.

Year 12s. Congratulations to all our year 12 students for making it all the way to the end of school!! Be encouraged to keep things balanced over the next month of study. Don’t neglect your friends, family, fitness, church and time with God.

Keep praying for our year 12s that they would go well in exams and make godly decisions about their future.

Next term will be a big term… so stay tuned for all the details…

THIS FRIDAY
THIS FRIDAY NIGHT (22 September 2006) is the last night of youth group for the term. Triple F will be at erina high from 7-9pm and will be finishing their series in 1 Corinthians. FOCUS will be back at the shed from 715-915pm at ‘The Shed’ and will be finishing their series in Romans.

The first night back for term 4 is Friday 20 October.

YO KID - if you just got home from school let me tell you about 2 great opportunities for your friends to hear about Jesus.

1) TONIGHT!!! coast youth REVOLUTION. The night kicks off at 7pm - $7 at the door. Great band, great speaker, great night! Check the website for more info…

2) NEXT SUNDAY NIGHT - Sam Chan will be speakin at night church on Sunday night the 24th of September. He’s a great speaker and (particularly if you’re in year10-12) it would be a great night to bring friends along.

This Sunday there will be a number of our youth being baptised. 3pm @ South Kincumber Swim Centre (Kerta Road). You’re more than welcome to attend.
