Radio Stations have Street Teams. What do their street teams do?? They drive around the streets of their area and promote the local radio station.

Rock Bands have Street Teams. What do their street teams do?? They tell their friends about their favourite band’s latest album and any upcoming concerts.

Let me introduce you to the CCECYOUTH E-STREET CREW. What does our E-STREET CREW do?? They tell their friends about youth group and special events where friends can come and hear the good news of Jesus Christ.

Why “E”?? “E” stands for electronic. We hope that everyone who comes to youth group is keen to tell their friends about Jesus and our youth group. BUT we have a unique opportunity to do this “E”lectronically. There are a growing number of ccecyouth members who have their own personal web page (such as myspace). If you have a personal website, have a think about how you could use it to point people to youth group and ultimately to Jesus.

Arriving home this afternoon I learnt of the male teenager who has been found dead after bush walking and the young girl killed this morning on a crossing outside her Central Coast school. These, along with the many fatal accidents involving teenagers recently, are tragic events.

Let me encourage you to be careful when crossing roads, going bush walking, surfing or skateboarding and if you have your license don’t be a fool.
