Revelation 19

Reading Revelation can feel like you are eavesdropping on someone else’s nightmare! But as we read Revelation, we must never forget that this is part of the Bible. This means that we dare not neglect it because we are lazy and think it is too much work. And we dare not read it in isolation from the rest of the word of God. The Bible – Old and New Testament together – forms one message from God to man. It is a fantastic, detailed and staggering message – that the God of the universe cares for us, has seen our helplessness in sin and has sent a rescuer to save us. And each part connects with the others to make up the whole.
