Episode 41 – Valentine’s Day with Doug

Episode 41

On the Poddy is back for 2007! Dan’s away. So it was just a Doug & Dave (and a special guest). Doug sang us a couple of songs… and David didn’t. Leave your Valentine’s Day comments for Doug at the main youth site rather than Podomatic.

journey into your Bible today!

Trek 07 Term 1 Week 2 (right click ‘Save Target As’)

Mark 1:16-2:12

12th-18th February AD2007

As we have seen in our study last week there is much to wonder about who Jesus was and what he was on about. This week we are going find out more about this man who is said to be the king and ruler of the world. Although he is clearly a man who has great authority over people, the created world and over his circumstances we will see the remarkable ways that he uses this authority. The big question to be asking this week as you read the passages is: What doe these encounters tell us about Jesus?

Revelation reading notes

Fri February 9, 2007

The following reading notes are for year 10-12 G-TEAMS. Revelation 1-22 will be studied this term in conjunction with the CCEC Nite Church (630pm Sunday’s @ EHS Hall) sermon series.

Revelation 19

Reading Revelation can feel like you are eavesdropping on someone else’s nightmare! But as we read Revelation, we must never forget that this is part of the Bible. This means that we dare not neglect it because we are lazy and think it is too much work. And we dare not read it in isolation from the rest of the word of God. The Bible – Old and New Testament together – forms one message from God to man. It is a fantastic, detailed and staggering message – that the God of the universe cares for us, has seen our helplessness in sin and has sent a rescuer to save us. And each part connects with the others to make up the whole.
