Have you ever been called “religious” because you are a Christian? The word religious means to do acts or perform rites ceremonially in order attain a certain standing with God. Religions the world over most certainly fit this description where in order to be right with God followers must do certain things to please him. Christianity is hugely different to this. Rather then being focused on what we must do, Christianity is focused on what God has done for us his Jesus. Consider this as you read these passages.
