How did you find PHAT? What was your highlight? How were you challenged? How were you encouraged? What’s your best injury? What should next year’s theme be? Anything else? Leave your comments. Peaceout…
Easily one of the most profound episodes yet… we hear the very voice of God! Dave is all alone without Dan for the Easter weekend so he simply read out Chapters 18-20 from the Gospel According to John. Jesus died. Jesus was buried. Jesus was Raised. Jesus appeared. Those that believe that Jesus is the King will have ‘life in his name’.
If you want to find out more information about Jesus and what it means to have ‘life in his name’ send an email to ccecyouth@gmail.com
The following Idolatry TALKCAST is from PHAT 2006. They were given by Dave Miers to the Juniors + Seniors each night. Everybody worships something. Everybody serves someone or something. A Christian is someone who has to turned away from idols and turned to God. If you’ve turned to God these talks may help you to understand what it means to serve God.
3For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. 6After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time… (1 Corinthians 15)
Jesus died. He was buried. He was raised. He appear.
Jesus definitely died and definitely rose again.
