Did you miss CCECYOUTH last week? Don’t miss it tonight!! We saw our first episode of I AGREE WITH DALE last Friday. Do you agree? Row kicked off the Junior Talk Series in Daniel and Dave kicked off the Senior Talk Series on The Cross of Jesus. Super -encouraging time.

2 big movies came out today. 1 of them I don’t need to tell you about: The Simpsons - you probably already know about it. The other you may not have heard of: Amazing Grace.

Amazing Grace is a movie about William Wilberforce and the abolition of slavery in the British Empire in the 18th Century.

William Wilberforce is a man who understood the gospel of Jesus. Wilberforce was inspired by John Newton. Newton was once a slave-trader - but when he became a Christian - he renounced his old life and began to publicly speak against slavery.

John Newton is best known for the most famous Christian Hymn - AMAZING GRACE. Check out the Trailer above, read more about Wilberforce from John Piper here, and go and check out the movie. Take a friend to watch it and chat about Jesus afterwards.
