Jcamp

JCAMP is our chilled out, budget camp for those in year 7-9. We have a mad time together each November. It’s a relaxing time [lots of cricket, swimming, hanging, & eating]. There are 3 reasons why we go away on Jcamp at the end of the year:

  1. It’s fun! It’s great to unwind after a busy year.
  2. We officially farewell our year 9s before they go off to the senior youth group.
  3. We spend time thinking about how we can best share Jesus with our friends. It’s helpfully placed close before SUMMERFEST [our biggest evangelistic event of the year] to help us think through why we would want to share Jesus and some practical ways that we can.

start | Friday 4th December 2009 @ 5:30pm
finish | Sunday 6th December 2009 @ 12:45pm
venue | Ocean Beach Holiday Park, Umina (google map below)

cost | $45 per person (covers food and site fees)
           $40 if more than one from same family
what to bring | clothes, toiletries, plate, bowl, cutlery, tent, bedding, surf or body boards, camping chair, swimmers and beach gear, bath towel & beach towel, hat, shoes for sport, wet weather gear, sunscreen & insect repellant, games and cards & bible
